Airquit in New Zealand: price, delivery and what buyers say

Airquit is a nicotine-free, hand-held aroma device sold online from a store priced in British pounds (airquit.shop). You can order it to New Zealand. The Starter Kit is £39.99, about NZ$94, delivery is quoted at 4 to 8 business days plus 1 to 4 days to process the order, and any duties or taxes are yours to pay. On Trustpilot it scores 1.9 out of 5 from 278 reviews.

We make a competing product, Inhalace, so read this knowing that. Everything about Airquit below comes from Airquit's own website and its public reviews, checked on 29 October 2026, and we have linked the sources so you can check them yourself.

What Airquit is

Airquit calls its device, the Air Quit Evo, a "personal aroma diffuser". You draw air through it like a vape and an aroma core inside gives the flavour. There is no nicotine, no vapour and no battery. Each flavour pack has three cores and Airquit says each core lasts 4 to 6 days. Its own site describes it as "a sensory consumer product, not a medical device".

What it costs in New Zealand dollars

Airquit sells in pounds, so the NZ price depends on the exchange rate. At £1 to NZ$2.34 (28 October 2026), before shipping or any duties:

What Airquit price About, in NZD
Starter Kit £39.99 $94
Device on its own £24.99 $58
Flavour pack, 3 cores £5.99 (listed as down from £7.99) $14
Try All Cores £24.99 $58

With cores lasting 4 to 6 days each, a three-pack covers roughly 12 to 18 days, so most people would get through about two packs a month.

How long it takes to get to New Zealand

Airquit's shipping policy lists New Zealand at 4 to 8 business days, and asks you to expect 1 to 4 more business days for processing. That works out at roughly one to two and a half weeks from ordering. The policy also says customers are responsible for any duties, taxes and customs charges, so check the total at checkout.

Airquit's site doesn't say where orders ship from. Some Trustpilot reviewers say their orders came from overseas and took two to three weeks, including a few in September and October 2026 who said theirs came from China.

What buyers say

On Trustpilot the company scores 1.9 out of 5 from 278 reviews. 67% of them are one-star and 13% are five-star. Trustpilot's own summary of recent reviews says most reviewers were unhappy, mentioning the build quality, weak flavour, long delivery times and the price. A minority say it helped them. Most of the recent reviews we read were from the UK, so delivery to New Zealand may not match their experience either way.

Airquit offers a 30-day guarantee: after a 30-day trial you have seven days to email them, and they say they will arrange "a partial or full refund". It doesn't take returns. Damaged items have to be reported within three days of delivery.

Does Airquit work?

Nobody has published a trial of Airquit, or of any flavoured-air device, ours included. What these devices can do is give you something to reach for and draw on when the vape would normally come out, and a slow breath through a narrow opening can take the edge off a craving for a few minutes. That part has some research behind it, which we go through on our straw breathing science page. None of them do anything for nicotine withdrawal. If you were on a strong vape, talk to your pharmacist or Quitline (free on 0800 778 778, or text 4006) about patches, gum or lozenges as well.

Options sold from inside New Zealand

If the waiting or the pound pricing puts you off, two similar products are sold from here:

  • Inhalace V2, ours. A breathing necklace rather than a pocket device, so it hangs where the vape used to be. $49.99, sent by courier NZ-wide ($9.99, or free on orders of $55 and over). Spice Stick inserts are $9.99 for three and each lasts four to seven days. It comes with a free six-week email support programme. No nicotine, no battery.
  • Shosha Quit Device, from the NZ vape retailer Shosha. $39.00, hand-held, with replacement sticks at $5.99 for three. When we checked on 29 October 2026 it was in stock online in four of its five flavours, and Shosha sends by NZ Post.

We've put Inhalace, Airquit, Füm and Shosha side by side, with prices, refills and delivery times, on our quit-vaping devices compared page.
